Lazarus Ministries at Grand Avenue Temple is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The survival services we provide to our Sojourners are offered free of charge to anyone in need and are widely recognized and respected in the greater Kansas City community – by both our supporters and those who come to us for help. That’s why the faithful funding that we receive from our generous donors is the very heart of our existence. Lives are changed through Lazarus Ministries and we couldn’t do it without our donors, who are used by God to restore hope to a hungry and hurting community.

Grand Avenue Temple is a religious institution supported 100% by private gifts; we depend completely on generous individuals and churches for support. We feel strongly about both our stewardship to our donors, who so generously provide the funds which support our church as well as for our outreach to the urban core, and to God, through Whom all things are made possible. Grand Avenue Temple appreciates the support of our donors and values their commitment to us. Therefore, Grand Avenue Temple (along with the United Methodist Church) does not rent, trade or exchange our donors’ names and addresses.
